Reader's Digest Response

We get comments.

I had written a post about a recent Reader's Digest article about Commonwealth Care, the new program in Massachusetts.

Peggy Northrup, the magazine's editor-in-chief, left a comment on the post. It's worth reading, as she points out that Reader's Digest ran a second article that mentions several suggestions for reducing health care costs. She says that with those ideas, there is "no need to wait for government, or the wonks!"

Fair enough. There are certainly things that each of us can do to promote our own health. Now if we could just get the politicians to help, not get in the way.
