Legal Questions Haunt Electronic Records 

Some office-holders, such as Gov. Pawlenty (R-Minn.) make putting health records into an electronic form a large part of their plan for making health care work better. The AMA warns that doctors could be heading for a legal minefield, as various issues associated with EMR (electronic medical records) are sorted out in the years to come.
