Sweet Deals for Hospitals, Thanks to Government
And Virginia is not the worst of the lot! The U.S. Index of Health Ownership, 2nd ed. (http://tinyurl.com/5e6czn) puts it in 26th place on facilities CON burden of regulation. (Of course 12 states have no CON at all.) If it's this bad in Virginia, what about states with even worse CON?
