Electronic Records May Promote Personal Health Ownership 

The New York Times reports on developments in electronic records, particularly the fact that they can encourage the sharing of medical information.

That's nothing new these days, but here's the part that is encouraging for health care reformers: "This is part of a shift toward a medical system that is more centered on and directed by patients themselves." That's the judgment of David Lansky, president of the Pacific Business Group on Health.
