Does Your Hospital Oppose Health Freedom?

Categories:  Oklahoma

You might think that your local hospital fears a government takeover of health care. After all, wouldn't that mean reduced payments and freedom of operation?

If that's your view, you might think again. The Daily Oklahoman reports on the view of hospital administrators, political activists and others in the state. At least one hospital executive seems comfortable with a federal takeover of health care. Well, that's not necessarily how they would put it. "Maybe this will be an opportunity for us to get paid for the patients we treat for free now."

The article repeats the claim that medical bills are the leading cause of personal bankruptcies (refuted on this site).
